Before stepping foot on the property I knew that this wedding would be gorgeous. Irene and Joe had some amazing vendors working with them and everything turned out beautifully. With Aubrey Akana from Savoir Faire Hawaii coordinating the event, they were in very good hands. And I love how Aubrey always works in some green ideas for her weddings, look for the Blumeboxes below to see what I mean.
My favorite thing about this wedding was all the vibrant colors, and even Irene’s dress was a pale shade of pink. The Kahulu’u Fish Ponds were the perfect location for this type of intimate outdoor event. I am always impressed when a destination bride can make you look at Hawaii in a little bit different light. It makes me really appreciate her creativity and all of the planning of little details. Irene and Joe’s wedding was even featured on Style me Pretty, one of my favorite wedding blogs.
Possibly the cutest flower girl on the planet.
Here are some of the details created by the extremely talented Michelle of Flower Girls Hawaii. I love everything she makes, especially the feathers in the bouquet. And the Blumeboxes are completly recyclable and so cute. So all of you brides out there looking for some green wedding ideas, here you go.
And one of my favorite vendors, CakeLava made this gorgeous custom cake for Irene and Joe. From what I hear, it tasted even better than it looked.
